Eurocar Suzuki is the Manawata's Suzuki Automotive Dealer Franchise selling new Suzuki's and high quality pre owned vehicles. Owned by Robin Kidd and formally known as Palmerston North Eurocar's the business has been operating successfully for the past 27 years and has built up tremendous goodwill within the community.
Robin is originally from Scotland. He worked as an engineer at Scot Base on the Antarctic continent in the 1960's. On his way through New Zealand to Antarctica he met his future wife Jenny.
Robin worked as a mechanic throughout the Manawatu and
in 1982 he purchased the K.S. Grant Motors workshop in Palmerston North. After 9 years he bought a building on the corner of Carroll and Featherston Street and relocated. This provided the first opportunity to sell vehicles. Robin quickly
picked up the Audi, Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Citroen agencies and
in 1997 an opportunity arose to take on the Suzuki franchise
and sales have improved every year. In 2008 Eurocar Suzuki
was New Zealand's second top Suzuki provincial dealer.

Eurocar Suzuki is a family run business. Robin Kidd's son, Stephen, returned from Amsterdam in 2007 to run the Sales department. Robins daughter, Donna Kidd, returned from London in 2007 , she is now the office manager.
Eurocar Suzuki runs a very experienced service and parts department
and are the factory franchise agents for Suzuki, Citroen, Alfa Romeo
and Fiat. We also repair and service all Volvo and other european
vehicles.
